Yoshiaki Blue Steel Bonsai Grafting Knife for Left Hand

The grafting knife is 7.25" in length. The shape of the blade is formed so it has a "pistol grip" like curve for hand comfort. Even the handle portion is hammered to create dimples for extra grip and comfort. This is meant for use in the left hand. It's more difficult for the tool makers to make tools designed for the left hand, therefore it will cost more than the right hand version.

This blade has been forged by hand by a Japanese master blacksmith. The handle has been hammered for a better grip. Soft carbon steel and hard blue carbon steel have been tempered together to get both a longer lasting edge and be finely sharpened without breaking the metal.
