This species is the most popular tree used as bonsai for beginners.  Their compact small thorny light green foliage grows into branches over time. During the summer months, it has strong growth patterns. The branches stay flexible for a longer period of time compared to other bonsai materials. It's possible to make virtually any sort of style with this species.

Not only that, they're forgiving for beginner level caretakers with their hardiness and semi-drought resistant qualities. It's an evergreen tree, so it can be enjoyed all year long without dropping all of its leaves. It's also known as "Dwarf Procumbens Juniper".

This particular one has been trained for a couple of years to have a basic simple sideways cloud shape to it. Because of its small size, it has the potential to grow up into virtually any style of bonsai that you want. This is a great starting foundation for caring for a new bonsai tree!

If there is major damage (ex: plant is dead or many branches are broken), please contact your third party shipping carrier (ex: USPS, FedEx, UPS) to submit an insurance claim with them as we are not able to assist with that matter. The fault is with the third party shipping carrier for such damage since it happened out of our hands. We are not responsible for any damages after the order leaves our facility since they were out of our control. If the bonsai tree is still alive but weakened due to shock (leaves are yellow-brownish or leaves have fallen off) then we are happy to assist in proving post-delivery plant shock care instructions via email to revive the plant. Please notify us by email of the issue within 48 hours upon receiving the order in hand.
