This tree is a great hardy tree that performs well; even in poor soil conditions. There's a special trait about this species; as it gets older, the trunk twists on itself without any human help. Young trees will show thorns on its branches but will appear less with older ones. It's an easy to care for variety that does well both indoors and outdoors.

The leaves will have a shiny light green color with tear shaped pointed ends. Its bark has a nice slightly wrinkled and cracked look that mimics a very aged appearance. The small red bell shaped flowers bloom in abundance and later develop into smaller pomegranate fruits.
